About Pam Tognola

Pam is originally from NJ and has been in the wellness industry since 1984. She managed a health club and eventually opened her own Women’s Health Club in 1990. In 2000, after she struggled with back pain for several years, she began studying yoga. She met her yoga teacher who was also a Certified Macrobiotic Chef. This started her on a journey to a whole foods way of eating. She finally realized how food was affecting her health. Today Pam shares her experience of transitioning to a whole food and yoga lifestyle with others who want to feed their body, mind and spirit to heal themselves from within.

Pam is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with 500 hours of training (E-RYT 500).  Pam is registered with Yoga Alliance and continues to take workshops to further enhance her training.  She can teach many varieties of yoga:  restorative and gentle yoga, as well as hatha and vinyasa.  She has worked with adults, seniors, children and teenagers.  She is a certified in Y12SR- The Yoga of 12-Step Recovery, as well as trained in Yoga Nidra, which helps sleeping better and relieving stress.  She had her own studio when she lived in New Jersey and currently has a small studio in her home in Maryland.

She teaches the holistic approach to life, encouraging her students to reach their full potential through movement, whole-food, breathing, relaxation and meditation.  Her teachings come straight from her life experience.

Pam lives in Baltimore with her husband Jeff.   She has a daughter, Jenna, who is at the University of Maryland, College Park.  Her other daughter, Kirsten, is a special ed teacher in Baltimore and her son Andrew, is a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army and lives in Texas.
